Description : Caucasian-style hilt  made  from sheet - silver ? , with a pair of steel silver ? decorated studs. Double edged steel blade with typical Circasian  form . Complete with  sheet - silver  over wood scabbard that is matching in style to the kindjal.   On  the  blade  etched   inscription  "   A. G. VARSHAVA  1876 year "on  side  and  " DEAD  TIEF  FROM  MY  HAND  ". Overall condition is excellent. Length in scabbard: 23 1/2 " (  60 cm )  . Blade length: 15 1/4  (  39 cm ) .
