DESCRIPTION: Scarce nice  quality  Turkish  Jambiya   manufactured most likely in the second half of 18th Century. Dark horn ( rhino ? ) grip and original wooden velvet covered scabbard with silver and silver gilded mounts .  On the grip two  silver filigree buttons  with  small turquoises in center .   Blade made  of  high  quality, dark  watered steel .Overall excellent condition .  Overall length in scabbard: 16 inches. Blade length:  8, 75 inches.
